Attorneys are available to assist with domestic violence and elder abuse restraining order petitions. This process takes between 1-3 hours on average, depending on the complexity of the victim’s situation and the number of children if they are to be included in the protection order. Note, this is a collaboration with the Sacramento County District Attorney’s office.
