Volunteer attorneys hold open office hours at The Women’s Building and provide consults, advice and referrals.
Ways to Contact
The Community Resource Room is open for drop-in services from 10:00am-4:00pm every day except Thursdays. Clients can receive information, community resources, and to book appointments for the resource clinic.
Free legal advice (immigration and family law): Clinics are usually held on the 4th Tuesday of the month from 9am-12pm. Clients can schedule a free bilingual English/Spanish legal consultation starting one week before the clinic, when slots open. Call 415.431.1180 or visit in person to speak with front desk staff. Due to a high volume of calls, clients are encouraged to come in person to sign up.
Free immigration advice: Remote immigration advice is available in English and Spanish every Tuesday from 10:00am-12:00pm. Call 415.431.1180 ext 11 to register before the next available date.

Collect key information in advance if possible: case numbers, names of key people, court dates and deadlines, documents related to the issue, and any questions you have.
