Swords to Plowshares provides attorney representation and consultation to veterans of any era and discharge status, and can help veterans with VA benefits (including disability compensation and VHA healthcare) and military discharge upgrades.
Swords also helps veterans access the benefits they have earned, avoid or escape homelessness, increase financial stability, and focus on long-term health and well-being.

Swords offers free one-time attorney consults on VA benefits assistance for any San Francisco residents, and free one-time attorney consults on discharge upgrade assistance for any residents of: San Francisco, Marin, Alameda, Contra Costa, Santa Clara and San Mateo. Full attorney representation on a case-by-case basis (priority is given to homeless veterans who live in San Francisco).
