Amigos de Guadalupe offers free legal consultations (in English and Spanish) with their immigration attorneys, support with affirmative immigration matters, and citizenship classes.

Ways to Contact

The Self-Help Desk is open Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday from 9am-5pm at 1897 Alum Rock Avenue, Suite #35, San Jose, CA 95116 and provides general information on immigration procedures and brief assistance, such as:​​

  • Change of address
  • Brief translations
  • Access to a private office for virtual hearings
  • Referrals

Walk-in consultations for legal advice and representation are available Wednesday from 1pm-5pm and Friday from 10am-2pm at 1897 Alum Rock Avenue, Suite #35, San Jose, CA 95116 (first come, first served). Consults are available on these issues:

  • Family petitions
  • Citizenship
  • DACA
  • Permanent residence
  • U Visa & VAWA
  • Work Permits
  • TPS
  • Waivers

Classes are available as follows:

  • Citizenship Classes: Monday and Wednesday from 6:00pm–7:00pm.
  • ESL Classes: Monday and Wednesday from 7:30pm–8:30pm.
  • Location: Amigos Back Classroom (1897 Alum Rock Ave, Suite 35, San Jose, CA 95116)
  • No registration required.
