Description

The Family and Children’s Law Center provides family law services to low-income Marin residents. Services provided include the following issues: domestic violence, divorce, paternity, child custody and visitation, child support, adoption, guardianship, and Special Immigrant Juvenile Status.

Process

Depending on your income, they charge from zero up to $300 per appointment for services. Typically, a simple uncontested divorce will cost less than $500 (in attorney’s fees).

After your intake, you will have a private appointment with an attorney who will provide legal advice. FACLC helps clients with all parts of the process in family law matters – completing the paperwork, filing and serving the paperwork, and representation in court.
