CASE represents families in special education disputes and can also design trainings for parents and staff on how to best advocate for children with disabilities.
Ways to Contact
Clients can schedule a 60-minute phone consultation about the individual case by calling 415.431.2285, and pressing "0" to talk to the intake coordinator. Clients may also email CASE with questions at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The phone consultation will determine eligibility for services. If the case is accepted, a CASE advocate will accompany the parents to the student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings. If necessary, CASE advocates can also represent students at Mediation Conferences and Administrative Hearings.
Collect key information in advance if possible: case numbers, names of key people, court dates and deadlines, documents related to the issue, and any questions you have.
