The Eviction Help Center provides San Jose residents with information on rental assistance, tenant protections, mediation, and referrals to legal help.
Ways to Contact
Tenants and landlords who would like to schedule appointments can contact Eviction Help Center staff at 408.975.4444 or evictionhelp@sanjoseca.gov.
If you are unable to pay rent, contact the Homelessness Prevention System at preventhomelessness.org or 408.516.5100.
Eviction Prevention Program staff are located at San José City Hall on the 12th floor, Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm. City Hall is located at 200 E. Santa Clara Street in San José.

Parking is available on 4th Street at San Fernando. The first 90 minutes of parking are free.
