Legal assistance is offered to low-income individuals and Tribes on a wide variety of issues involving Federal Indian law including Indian Child Welfare, land, student rights, cultural resource protection, public benefits, Indian Wills and probates, unsealing birth records and more. CILS also provides various trainings and outreach opportunities to tribal communities

Notes
For free legal services Income must be less than 125% of the poverty level as set by the yearly Federal Poverty Income Guidelines. Also possible assistance for those with income less than 200% of the poverty level if certain expenses are present.
