The Self Help Center/Family Law Facilitator can’t be your attorney, but they can help with paperwork and process for family law, domestic violence restraining order, elder abuse restraining order, guardianship, and child support cases.
Ways to Contact
In-person services are limited and first-come first-served. For same-day appointments, go to Room 205 at the Fairfield Courthouse, 600 Union Ave. (second floor) Monday-Thursday from 8:30am-12:00pm. On Fridays, they only help with applications for domestic violence and elder abuse restraining orders from 8:30am to 12:00pm.

Even though the wait can be long, there are a mix of attorneys, paralegals, and other court volunteers to help you. Note, they cannot give legal advice.
