Legal Services for Children (LSC) primarily handles the following matters on behalf of young people: guardianship, foster care, emancipation, school cases, immigration, and tickets.

Call LSC’s “warmline” on Monday and Thursday from 1:30pm-4:30pm; 415.780.6366 (English) or 415.780.6367 (Spanish). You’ll be directed to an intake worker. If you get a voicemail, leave a message with a safe return phone number. For general questions, call 415.863.3762.

Process

If you call and leave a message on the warm line, wait for a call between 3-4 days. If you haven’t heard back by then, you should call again.
